With a passion for the outdoor life Horizon Studio has contributed to the development of a number of iconic nature based recreation experiences including walking tracks, mountain bike trails, alpine ski trails and cross country ski trails.
Omeo mountain bike trail network
Horizon Studio worked in collaboration with leading trail builders, ecology and heritage specialists and East Gippsland Shire Council to develop a masterplan for 115 kilometres of dedicated mountain bike trail in the Sam Hill State Forest, Omeo. Horizon Studio also provided design guidance during the trail construction phase to ensure the experience aligned with the objectives of the masterplan, as well as designed all of the signage and trailhead facilities.
Eagle Point Shared Trail
Concept design for a shared trail connecting Paynesville to the new community hub at Eagle Point. This project required extensive community engagement including on site meetings, workshops and managing community input.
